How can i earn $6-7,000 in a year (lots of info included)?

there is this month long school/camp i want to go to next summer in LA.
i'll be 15 in less than 2 weeks.
ive been told that im really good at photography and it's something i love doing, so i plan on earning a majority of the money that way.
in january i can start applying for jobs; but that doesnt guarantee that i will have one in time to make enough money.

the camp starts in late june 2010, so i technically have a little less than a year since i need to sign up about a month in advance to go.

ALL help will be greatly appreciated!

hello - good luck - that's alot of money to make - but i also take reasonably good photographs and i put them on paper and make note cards out of them. they sell for anywhere from $1.50 to $4 each depending on where they are being sold. my pictures are of all different types of things and all different seasons. i print them and then glue them to paper. i have a stamp on the back with my contact info for people who want more as well, and i get alot of resale. i have been told its because the photographs are good, but also because the price is so reasonable. the start up costs for this are not all that low, as you need to buy good paper and envelopes, but it might work for you, and you could start now as well. (the ones i sell directly to people I sell for $1.75 each, they cost about .20 to make each) good luck -
