I'm playing the stock market game in school, so its not for the long-term or with real money. So what are some stocks that could do great during this month???????
Well, IDK if the program you are using at school allows you to short stocks, but I would say for the next month or so equities (stocks) will most likely be pulling back some before continuing higher, if the even continue higher at all. Most indices are nearing their highs which is know as an area of very strong resistance. So as far as going long (buying) I would say that you might not do so well this month. If in fact you are only allowed to go long then you might want to look into buying bonds this month (if that is a part of your program).
Also, I'm sure your school is teaching you about looking at the fundamentals of a company in order to find good investment opportunities, but markets don't move only on the perceived value of a company, they also move as a result of perceived crowd psychology, in other words, there are certain technical levels that buyers and sellers respond to that have everything to do with price action and little to do with company numbers. This is known as technical analysis.
Google it and you will find a ton of stuff on it, but be careful because some people get a little too crazy with it and lose sight of what's really going on with a stock price. Hope this helps, FeenixTrader
