Credit Card questions....?

I currently have 3 credit cards all in good standing, i pay more than minimum payment each month, and i have never been late on a payment. I just check my credit score and record and it is in good standing as well except my student loans are all spread out and i have my name on a credit card with my parents, that is not paid by me. I think that they are hurting my chances of consolidating my loans or getting higher spending limits, but i am not sure what i need to do.

The student loans may be the problem not the credit cards. If your credit cards are in good standing then it is reporting a good credit reporting which is giving you a good credit score. If you credit score is over 700, you should be able to consolidate; but if it is under 700, you probably will need to try paying more on your credit cards per month and after six months, applying for another loan. Don't apply for too many, it can affect your credit score.

Not sure why you have a cc with your parents but if it is a problem then take yourself off that card.

Your credit should be Yours not someone else's.
