Iam sure this is a dumb question...I am currently opening a boutique and was wondering if I was to keep a few clothing items for myself, do I pay taxes on them when its time to pay taxes?
You must pay sales tax on them. If you bought them and didn't pay tax at that time because you used your reseller's certificate, you still owe the sales tax to your state on anything you converted to your own use.
Technically, "yes". Pragmatically, "no".
Sales Tax is actually "Sales and Use Tax"
