Does paying utilities on time raise you credit score?

Things like cable, electric, phone etc.
I see they report to the credit agencies IF YOU DON'T pay. But as far as I can tell they don't report if you do pay on time.

No. The only accounts that help your credit are ones that consistently report status to the credit report agencies. For the most part, the only companies that do this are credit cards and various loan accounts.

While this may not be fair, there is also one benefit that these bills don't increase your debt amount in your debt/income ratio.

Yes - it will help raise your credit - it does show up on your report and it will over time "even" out any of the times you may have missed your payment or been behind.

They may not have to report it, but just because they don't report it doesn't mean that it won't raise your credit....

Any bills paid on time will look good on your credit - you might want to get a copy of your report to make sure that there aren't any mistakes.
