And they tell you "its not covered under your home owners you have to of had flooding i guess god made my water heater break is the way I understand that one And I used to be a licsenced life agent!!! what do you all say? Should I call them UP and cancel them out?
Typically breakdowns are not covered by insurance.
Unless you mean it leaked all over, then I would think most policies cover it under water escape and rupture.
I know that flooding is never covered under a homeowners insurance policy but it does seem like when an appliance breaks in the home and causes the damage that maybe it should be covered under the regular home insurance policy bc its not like it was flooding because of a natural disaster or anything.
