I'm just wondering how much in student loan debt the average lawyer has? Including undergrad and law school. I am considering law school but fear I have too much debt already and it may not be the wisest idea, even though that's what I really want to do. I would like to hear from current lawyers, law school students, people who know lawyers or law school grads, etc. thanks!
My undergraduate work was about $30K in student loans. I'm thinking 4 years of law school would be an additional $100K.
Just an idea... will a law firm let you work as a paralegal, process server, file clerk, etc in return for helping you pay for law school?
