I took demand draft from SBI.. But this draft isn't go to write person( payee suspects fraud )
then i went to bank next day and tell him about my situation but bank refuse to cancel my draft. he told that without original he cannot able to cancel. i told him that i will write a letter for lose of draft so that i get duplicate then it'll easy to cancel my draft but the bank refuse this...
Is there any other option to cancel my demand draft

First you prof your Identity with gov. serviced I.D Like voter card and bank a/c. along with D.D.counterfoil.Give one letter to stop the D.D.en- cashment from the bank address to branch manager of concernn Branch where you took the D.D.get receipt if not you posted by R.D. The copy to ODS man of the bank Regional office Dint run for Address. Look around the inside the branch near noticeboard or where the official notice are sticking (Not advt.)there address availe. take and post with R.D. they stop the payment for D.D.and inBetweenn meet the manager, and proof you are the letter to be sent for D.D.and explain what you need . within 12 days they must settle your problem. Now banks must work other wise post your complaint to concern Bank web site also in complaint col they'llll accept.
Demand draft it is like cash. If you have already submitted then it is very difficult to cancel. You can issue a letter explaining the situations to stop the payment of the draft.
Go to consumer court.............
