It depends on why you're suing them and how the strong the evidence is that they're at fault.
For instance, if you warned company management in writing that a machine isn't working properly, then one day the machine fails and you lose an arm as a result, you'll probably get a pretty big payout.
Don't plan on getting a big payout unless you were seriously wronged. If you try to bring a frivolous suit, you'll have a very difficult time getting an attorney to represent you (unless you pay them hourly and not on a contingency fee basis).
