I think it means that the "agent" is only acting as a middle-man in terms of putting the two parties together. The two end parties will transact directly. HTH

I think you both mean entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is a person who organizes and assumes the risk of a business or enterprise.

An intrapreneur is someone that starts a company by developing an initiative within another company. Often, if the idea is successful, the company may spin off the company as a separate entity. 3M, GE, HP and Dupont are all famous for their intraprenuership initiatives.

I don't think we will see gas at that level ever again. I'd expect that alternative energy sources could be developed but by the time they are, inflation will have raised prices too.
