3) My School is approved so my school hours are counted so I need to complete with WEP to get it to 35 because my School hours arent 35, They are giving me CARFARE, does that carfare only corresponed with WEP, or will I get it by working also. They told me I could do eiether a Job or Do Office Work At School?
4) By how much will they lower food stamps && the money we receieve if I become independent(which will exclude me from this whole endeavor)?
I am so sorry I know this is A lot but I am so confused && need help. Please help, please answer my questions, 10 pts for best and quickest answer, thank you in advance!
...............................................................................
First I would say that you need to seat down and talk to your worker if the school you are attending is an approved school then you should be ok. the other thing is that you might still be able to get the food stamps they are based on a lot of things such as rent basic family needs and income. I was in the same situation years ago. I say if you can find a job that will pay you do that and you might still be able to get the food stamps. Most of the thing they will still give you the money for transportation for a while the main things I have to say is keep going to school that is what will help you in the long run and God will take you there if you are willing. Best of luck

Other than hard work, what are the other routes to success?
1) Creativity/ open mindedness which include the willingness to try new ways of doing things, finding out what people REALLY want not just what they say they want, and a knack or ability to find under-served markets for services or new products.
2) Interpersonal skills, which would include networking, hiring the right people, motivating people(Some people need salt, some people need sugar you better be able to figure out who needs what and quickly),writing and speaking clearly and effectively, and LISTENING well even if it's something you don't want to hear.
3) Organizational and leadership skills. Can't motivate and organize others if you can't organize yourself. Do first things first, know what to do and when to do it. Ability to ignore or overcome the temptations of procrastination or avoidance of a problem. TRAIN, MOTIVATE,DELEGATE, REPEAT, until you have a first class organization.
Add in the 4th quality, the ability and willingness to work hard and you will have a very, very successful person. However it is a RARE individual indeed who possesses ALL of the above.
PS. Notice I didn't say anything about intelligence or education. Yes it helps some, but it doesn't matter if you can't do at least some of the above. The world is full of geniuses who are also paupers, and it is full of pompous overeducated people who live in ivory towers and don't know anything about getting along with people much less motivating them or managing them. Like it or not people are people not robots or "messy" as I say. Learn to manage the people that nobody else likes to deal with. Like the diva graphics artist who does brilliant work but can't show up for work on time and complains about the working conditions or the engineer who "knows his stuff" backwards and forward but manges to constantly insult some your best customers without even realizing it! Manage these kinds of people well and you will do well indeed.
In fact if you can do 2 out of the 4 mentioned you should do well in life, 3 out of 4 and you will do great. 4 out of 4 and you will be unstoppable. One final note, I am a financial advisor who works with very wealthy people, and I am amazed at how many of them have been "lucky", if you know what I mean.
...............................................................................
It depends on what you think success means....you asked about hard work so I assume you define success as having money? Some people define success as living a life where you are happy...so I guess if you can figure out a way not to sweat the small stuff and find the good in every situation then you can be success full that way. Some people define success as raising smart, polite, healthy children. Yes that is also hard work but it's also very rewarding which in return makes you successful.
Anyway, it all just depends on how you define it.
...............................................................................
Other routes to success are patience, who you know, your ability to sell yourself and ideas to to your target audience and having an idea, product or service that people really want and need and which can be transformed into a profit-generating venture. But success first starts with self-belief and high self-esteem.

How much for a usa postal delivery..?
from canada would cost?
Like, my friends birthday is coming up
and her parents are broke. So I want to
send her a hoodie
From
Scarborough Ontario
To
Austin Texas
How much am I looking at?
...............................................................................
On top of the price of the hoodie, a ballpark estimate for shipping is between $10 and $20 probably. (International shipping is always a bit more than domestic shipping).

How many business days is it in a week (what days)?
Also if I pay for the item on a thursday and it says 10-20 business days what day would it be?
...............................................................................
There are 5 business days in a week. The days are Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday. The item would probably arrive on the second Friday after you ordered the item, but that is just a guess.
...............................................................................
business days = monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday,
so if you payes for something on thursday and you where to get it in 10 business days you would get it on a thursday two weeks from the day you bought it
...............................................................................
A typical business week is 5 days, Monday through Friday. 10-20 business days would be 2-4 weeks
...............................................................................
5 days monday to friday

How do i find out if a company is 100% legit and not a fraud?
just look up any business on the BBB website they will tell you up front, but the only thing I disagree with what some one said that mlm is a scam and it is not, the only reason people fail in mlm is that they did not do there home work on the company before joining, even donald trump says mlm is a great tool to have
...............................................................................
This is from the Better Business Bureau:
Recognizing a Work at Home Scam
Avoid falling victim to a work at home scam by recognizing the following warning signs in job advertisements:
? Boasts no experience necessary
? Promises easy money and huge part-time earnings
? Promotes having “inside” business information
? Asks you to purchase products or instructions before getting “hired”
Outcomes of a Work at Home Scam
Protect yourself from tempting work-at-home promotions that offer exaggerated benefits by being informed of the outcomes. The outcomes of work at home scams include: a waste of money, time, reputation, and morale.
Victims of work at home scams have reported losses ranging from $10 to $70,000. Although the money loss may be recovered, the countless hours that you spend on unfruitful projects can’t. You may also end up selling nonexistent services and poor products to your customers, making yourself vulnerable to charges of fraudulent practices.
Types of Work at Home Scams
? Assembly Jobs: Involves investing hundreds of dollars to buy instructions and materials to produce crafts and signs for a potential company. After producing the products, the company may refuse to buy your products because it doesn’t meet their standards.
? Multi-Level Marketing (MLM): Requires you to recruit new people to sell a scammer's products or services. You often end up making close to nothing when the direct sales system crashes.
? Stuffing Envelopes: Tricks people into believing they can make $3 or $4 per envelope they stuff. If you apply, you may end up receiving promotional material asking you to buy instructions on how to get rich quick. The instruction will show you how to post similar job ads for stuffing envelopes.
? Online Businesses: Advertises how you can start your own online business and start making money fast. If you apply you will be asked to purchase a pointless guide to work-at-home jobs.
? Processing Claims: Deceives you into thinking that you can make hundreds of dollars a week by processing insurance claims for health care providers. Asks you to pay for training and to buy equipment and software in order to get started.
The best way to protect yourself from work at home scams is by not applying and staying informed of the outcomes. Remember there’s no easy way to make money. Every start up business and career requires hard work, resources, and luck.
The Truth Behind Nigerian Scams
? Emerged in the early 1980s under consecutive governments of Nigeria.
? Constitutes the 3rd to the 5th largest industry in Nigeria.
? May be also referred to as an advanced fee fraud, 419 fraud, The Nigerian Connection, and 419 – a section of the criminal code of Nigeria
? Authorities often don’t recover the cash raked in from victims.
? Perpetrators are often West Africans, predominantly Nigerians, who work from Nigeria and abroad.
? Nigerian scams remain a confidence fraud, not a cyber crime, tapping into all avenues of communications.
How Nigerian Scams Work
The potential victim of a Nigerian scam receives a letter via spam, fax, or mail. The letter requests the recipient to aid in laundering money out of the country or another illegal job in return for a huge sum of money. Many variations of the Nigerian scam letter exists, but most request a small amount of money to help transfer an incredible amount of wealth in return for a substantial monetary award.
However, if the recipient chooses to pay the upfront fee to help transfer the money. The recipient will often receive another request for a transfer fee with a promise of even more cash. This continues until the recipient runs out of money or the scammer moves on to fresh bait.
Some scammers may even request your personal information, like your bank account or credit card number, so they can transfer the non-existent cash award to you, making it important to know that whenever you give your personal information online or over the phone you open yourself to the possibilities of falling victim to identity theft, credit card fraud, insurance fraud, internet fraud, and more scams. So, take the extra step to protect your personal information and discard Nigerian scam letters and other unsolicited emails, services, and requests.
Recipients of Nigerian Scams
If you receive a Nigerian scam letter through any means of communication, you should do the following:
? Discard the letter and don’t respond
? Post a complaint to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) or www.ic3.gov/
? File a complaint to the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at www.efccnigeria.org/, if you’ve lost money
? Write a letter to the email provider of the scammer at the abuse address, if you received the scam through your free email provider. Remember to include the letter you’ve received plus its headers and subject line in the complaint.

Employers how attractive are these A Levels on ones CV? And Students are these enjoyable?
I'm about to start college in September and trying to decide which courses to take. I'm in two minds.
Option A;
English Literature and Language, Philosophy, French and Sociology.
Option B;
English Language, Philosophy, Sociology and French.
Option C;
English Literature, Philosophy, Sociology and French.
Option D;
English Language, Philosophy, French and Psychology.
Option E;
English Language, Sociology, French and Psychology
Option F;
English Language, Sociology, French and Religious Studies.
Which is preferable and justifications are truly welcomed! If one could tell me what they think of the individual subjects as an employer, I'd also be greatful :)
...............................................................................
english language is more interesting and looks better on a cv because it can be applied more to everyday life.
philosophy is looked on by a lot of employers as a pointless A level as it is more of an arty kind of thing, i suppose it depends on what type of jobs you are looking at.
psychology is looked upon better than sociology as it is more in depth and is meant to be harder. a lot of people who did sociology while i was at collage found it very boring and tedious.
french and any foreign language is good to have as every employer looks at people who are fluent in any other language as a big bonus!
...............................................................................
Psychology is very interesting, but challenging. English literature was my favourite subject. However! I think option E is most impressive, because it shows a wide range of skills, and of course, includes French. Good Luck! X
...............................................................................
As an employer I would say Option D. I'm really sorry to all sociology students out there but employers tend to regard it as a bit of a soft option. Sorry - don't shoot me but it's the truth.

Will they find out or not?
well, im getting called for an interview tomorrow,
and when the employer asks me what i am, i will lie and say im puerto rican (im actually american mixed with asian, but i look more hispanic than latino, and plus i speak fluent spanish)
I live alone,
anyways,
would he know im lying if i tell him/her im from puerto rican background?
will he find out?
i was born in Houston, my parents both live in Canada, my dad is american and my mom is phillipino,
...............................................................................
no way, he'll never find out. what, is he going to hire a private investigator to do a background test? i'm half-Hispanic half-White and I plan on listing myself as full Hispanic on the SAT's.
...............................................................................
What are you talking about?!?!?! Employers do not ask you your national origin in an interview. You're kidding right?
And why would you lie? That makes no sense at all. If you were born in Houston, then you are American.

How do I write a contract?
I'm trying to write a contract where my dad is aloud to borrow my cellphone for one week. $21 up front, or $2 a day with 50 cents for each call made or received. Also, a $10 safety deposit for scratches, if the call history has been tampered with, etc. and $50 if he loses it. Please help me write a contract with minimal loop holes. Thanks
...............................................................................
A contract requires an offer and an acceptance. It doesn't have to be perfect language necessarily, but the language should be clear enough that everyone understands it.
You would write:
I, John Smith, agree to pay my son, Jerry Smith, $21 for use of his cell phone for one week's period, starting on this date and ending on this date at this time. I also agree that I will pay $2 per day, and will be charged $.50 for every phone call that I place or receive. In addition to the $21 down payment, I have made a $10 refundable security deposit in case the phone is scratched. I will forfeit this deposit if the phone is lost or stolen, and will be charged an additional $50.
Then you basically state in the same type of language that you acknowledge that you have received the money from your dad. You both should sign and date the thing at the bottom.
Just a piece of advice, this contract is way too complicated. You should make it simple and just charge him a flat fee to borrow the phone for a week, and charge him for each additional day that he keeps it after a week. The deposit for scratches is ridiculous, because it will be hard to prove, and scratches on a cell phone are considered wear and tear. I agree that your father should be held responsible if the item is lost or stolen.
Also, why do you need a contract for this? Unless you will take your father to court over less than $100 (which isn't worth the filing fee), then I wouldn't bother having a contract at all.

Currency Australia prior to dollars & cents...?
My wish is to be able to provide equations of our former currency, allowing conversions of all coins & notes, eg;
1; a pound to a dollar
2; a fathom, halfpenny, shilling etc to our current coins
3; a comparison example of an amount eg $750 to pounds.
Finally I seek the names for each of the former coins & notes, as well as their nicknames (zac, dina, quid etc).
Your help is appreciated.
...............................................................................
Prior to 1966, Australia used the British system of Pounds/Shillings/Pence.
1 Pound = 20 Shillings
1 Shilling = 12 Pence = 2 Sixpence = 4 Threepence = 24 Halfpennies
1 Florin = 2 Shillings
1 Crown = 5 Shillings
In 1966, 1 Pound became 2 Dollars.
So...1 Dollar equals 10 old Shillings or 5 old Florins or 120 old pence.

Cashing a cashiers check?
KK so heres the situation, im getting sent a check from a company b/c I sent them used video games, now when they send me the check it will have MY name on it but I dont have a bank account and am only 15, can my Mom cash it even if MY name is on the check but not HERS? Thank you
...............................................................................
I had this same dilemma when I was 15. Here's how I got my money.
I asked my mom to help me cash the check. I signed the back (if your name is on the front, it is correct for you to sign the back). My mom and I went together to the bank to cash the check.
The cashier asked my mom to also sign the back of the check because she was helping me (this may not still be true, but it might and is no big deal).
My mom had money in her own account to cover the check amount, so she was able to cash the check and give me the money.
We then went over to the bank manager and opened an account for me so I could save 10 percent of all my money. If you do this, you will be very happy to have a lot of cash in the future because you start saving now.
Good luck and good saving to you.

You can open a bank account to cash it or keep it. All you need is for your mum to sign at the bank.
For your mum to cash it you would need to endorse it, that is sign it on the back, but as you are not legally an adult I don't think your signature would be valid..
