a friend suggested but i dont really like it. i usually dont thank or say thank you for your consideration and then sincerely.

I wouldn't. I'd stick to buisness. If in doubt add other stuff to your resume. The thank you line looks like filler.

NO! -- your Resume should include education, job history, and any other accomplishments worthy of note (Patents, sports teams, honors etc)

you would not put that on your CV (you can have "references available on request"). normally you would put that on your cover letter. you can get more information on the sites below or search for it.
