Make up fliers and pass them around in your neighborhood.

Offer to do whatever work it is you want to do, such as :

Computer work, Babysit, Clean Garages, Organize Cupboards, File Papers, Wash Cars, Mow Lawns, Pull Weeds, Tutor the neighbors kids, wash Dogs, Dog sit, Clean the Pool, Assist the elderly, whatever...


Post first whatever it is you want to do or are good at ...
However, Keep your options open and make a decision after the persons call you instead of not giving them many reasons to call.

Say you are a student and available on weekends and all summer.

Your neighbors who might hire you do not have to be residents, they might be local businesses that need a little job done. Do not be afraid to ask and apply. You won't get a job if you don't try.

Depends on what skills you will be using. If you don't know how to use Word and Excel and you will have to learn on the job, minimum wage to 10 per hour would be a fair level.

You'll know when you show your face. I wouldn't go there again. You walked off the job on bad terms. They will remember and will worry that you will do it again. We are pretty much a dime a dozen and employers can pick and choose from so many people. That's the truth about recession.

I think we are going into a depression because the Republicans are pissed we have a Democratic president. The Republicans are the one who carry the money and since they are sitting on it, jobs are scarce. You have to change your attitude about jobs and take what's offered to you. You need to be more flexible, especially if you don't have childcare needs. Grow up!!!

Sure, they most likely will want you in the front office where you can get the exact hours you need. Macy's does not want unhappy people working for them.

I'v recently been told that filing for bankruptcy is a good idea for someone with horrible credit... Bottom line; I have over 15 grand in debt (some old, some new) and want to buy a house within a year or so...... what would be my best option? bankruptcy or paying up? appreciated.

If you can pay it off then you should do so but make sure that you call the creditors and get a letter in writing stating they will either remove the negative account all together or remove the late payments. This is very easy to do with collections agencies- and they take settlements easier as well. Make sure you get it in writing or you will not have any ground to stand on if they do not do as they say they will. If they simply sage they will re-age your account that is not helping you, your account will just be updated to show you paid a past due account- not helpful but creditors assume consumers don't know any better.

If you CAN repay your debts, you are better off doing so. If it would be futile, and would just keep you impoverished for longer and longer, trying to repay debt that is essentially unrepayable, then bankruptcy is a better choice.

$15,000 is not a lot of debt, so far as bankruptcy filings go. Its really on the low side, among those who file bankruptcy. There is no "minimum debt requirement" for filing bankruptcy, but most bankruptcy attorneys will advise you to make arrangements to repay this amount of debt if at all possible, rather than filing bankruptcy for such a relatively small amount of debt.

At this point, given the current economy, it is pretty difficult to predict what mortgage lenders will be doing a year from now. Anybody who tells you that they "know" which course of action would better position you to buy a house a year from now is really just guessing. IN GENERAL, repaid debts bode better for future mortgage applications than a recent bankruptcy. But there is so much new legislation coming down the pike regarding mortgage lending right now, that it is really almost impossible to predict what the mortgage climate will be like a year from now.

The hospital will get a default judgement. Go to court and give your side of the story

I been calling and waiting for something about 3rd extension. I don't know what to do my claim expire on may 16 and i try ed to file a new one and nothing 0.00. Then i called edd they said they will email Sacramento edd and they will sent me something. Does anyone know what can i do? I see my husband trying to keep us together and its hurt because i want to help. But i feel like i'm helpless I been like a mad women and all they tell me is they email who ever. Unfortunately, waiting is your only answer. EDD will automatically file for you, and you will recieve your claim form in the mail. If you qualified for the first two extensions, then there shouldn't be any problems with getting FED ED. Hang in there and Good Luck.
