I got hired at Macy's, I quit after 1 day cuz I didn't like my hours...?

I applied again at the same store and I'm ready to work with whatever hours they give me but do you think they'll consider me again for employment?

You'll know when you show your face. I wouldn't go there again. You walked off the job on bad terms. They will remember and will worry that you will do it again. We are pretty much a dime a dozen and employers can pick and choose from so many people. That's the truth about recession.

I think we are going into a depression because the Republicans are pissed we have a Democratic president. The Republicans are the one who carry the money and since they are sitting on it, jobs are scarce. You have to change your attitude about jobs and take what's offered to you. You need to be more flexible, especially if you don't have childcare needs. Grow up!!!

You should have thought of that before you quit!! If i were an employer, in today's economy, with so many people hunting for jobs, I'd have filled your position with someone else who probably would appreciate even crappy hours.

Depends. But if I had a person in the past that proved to be finicky, and I have another unknown, I'd probably go with the unknown. Continue applying elsewhere.

Sure, they most likely will want you in the front office where you can get the exact hours you need. Macy's does not want unhappy people working for them.
