Im starting my first job at Walmart and I want to know what the job orientation going to be like?

I also want to know what to bring and what to wear.

You need to bring your ID and SS card. They will ask you to wear a solid colored blue shirt and tan pants (jeans are ok as long as in the right color) and maybe a pen. You can bring your own lunch or just buy something there.

And truth be known you first day at Wal-Mart is kinda scary..(but not really...your personnel director will do just fine...they are well trained and will tell you everything)


The first day, you have orientation..it's long but filled with alot of information. The second day is primarily what's called "CBL"'s...meaning "computer based learning.
And it means just watch videos and learn all you can..followed by a few on line tests. watch and learn it's all good, after that..move to your dept..and simpy ask questions.

It's going to be long and boring. Bring a pen and notepad in case you want to take notes. But be prepared for the boringness!!!
