I sent something by recorded delivery buy dont know how you go about finding if it was recieved at the other end or not.
...............................................................................
If there is a tracking number on the recepit you had, visit the royal mail website at www.royalmail.com, and track the item.
...............................................................................
If you sent through the post office, then on your receipt will be a trackingcode usually starts with two capital letters followed by 9 more numbers and letters. Enter that into there website track and trace service, will be on there home page usually and you'll see whether it has been delivered or not. Parcel force do the same thing as do most of the other courier postal companies!

You cant unless you get intouch with the person it was sent to. If they say it has not been received then you have to contact the Post Office, they can then trace it and see if it was delivered. If there was no-one there to sign for it it would not be delivered.
...............................................................................
go on royal mail website and enter the tracking number of the item u sent, it will be on the slip u had from postoffice, they can tell you when it was delivered, from which post office and you can view the signature of the person who signed for it aswell.
...............................................................................
It depends on who you shipped it through, but most carriers have websites that you can enter the tracking number and verify delivery.
