What do you do when that happens and you are out of toilet paper?
Haha well, I usually try to prepare for that much, but paper towel or even facial tissues can work, at least as a temporary fix. That or go use a public restroom at a coffee shop or something when you have to do number 2. :^P
Anyway, should really try to work out a budget when payday comes around, gotta plan your spending so these unexpected shortages don't come up, use a bit of self-discipline and don't spend wastefully when you don't have to. Avoid eating out for meals, buying big items or luxuries you don't need until you actually have money to waste/burn. But even then, it's okay to save some! Don't have to spend it all just because it's there in your account!
Been there done that, the key is to isolate WHY you are so tight. Prepare yourself a household budget . Most times when creating this you find small pieces of the pie that you can divert to debt payment.
First look at what you can reduce, then look at how can make some extra money. Dedicate as much money as possible towards debt payoff, this will help lower your minimums fast . lower payments will help you on months when you don't have as much money, Stay strong for as long as you can and keep hammering the debt the sooner your issues will be solved long term.
