I resigned from office because of the following factors . what do u think about me ?
I was working in a multinational software company in India in the post of senior developer with 3-4 yrs of experience . Last year I joined this company .
I was happy with the technology I am working with but not happy with the people around me as well as my boss as well as some company policy .
first of all here software engineers salary is very low where as manager salary is very very high compared to other companis . because company thinks that managers are the key part . so they have to keep them .
except providing salary , the company dont providing anything to a developer where as more managers it gives full of blessings .
my manager shows of her money power .like she comes in big cars , lot of high fashion things and always irritates us like this cristmas I am going to dubai , next summer I am going to oslo ....tells about her big apartment in the plush area.also sometimes ask the developers that why u r not buying house nearby? she knows very well that with our salary we cant afford house in those area .
another main reason is : if I work hard my salary will increse a little , manager salary will increse a lot . so why I will work here ?

so I left the job and doing some freelancing .
I want to know what u think about me

You stand firm on your principles of common sense, honesty and decency: I for one--respect you for that.

People like this former manager clearly model the "key part" cause of why this company will wash out in about 2 years time, give or take three months or less beyond that; your former employers will come to regret promoting her to management in well due time.

You're a hero for all of us stuck in office professions--surrounded by whacked out, conniving, weasel-backstabbing colleagues and supervisory staff.

Now....shrug off this concern of how others think of you. Freelance hard with a clear mission. Embrace your passion of doing software engineering, create a successful company---that may one day BUY OUT your former company....where you can then FIRE this manager---IF she's still around.

Karma: It's a beautiful thing. Break's over, kiddo---back to work!!

And Good Luck to ya: Show us all that good guys CAN finish FIRST!!
