Right. The main point of those online places, is to harvest your personal information. They then sell it as 'leads' to agents, sometimes hundreds of agents.
So no, they're NOT safe, and they're not particularly accurate, either, as THEY aren't going to pay the $15 per quote to double check your credit score or driving record.
