I broke my blackberry's screen and feel awful but I still don't want to pay the 100 dollar insurance...?

deductible. I figure 'why should I? I've been paying the 7 dollars insurance!' Do you know of a way to get around this and still obtain a new blackberry?
-I don't want to buy a brand new one.
-I don't want to pay the 100 bucks.
-I want to cancel the insurance.

No way to get around the 100 deductible if you file a claim on the phones insurance.

The only way to get around it...buy a phone out of pocket - maybe you can get lucky and find something on ebay. But that won't save you much.

If you want to "invoke" the insurance, you WILL have to pay the deductible. If you don't want to pay the deductible, don't invoke the insurance.

Pretty simple.

Feel free to cancel the insurance. But you can't cancel it retroactively.

You paid the $7 insurance so that, if it broke, you could pay only $100 instead of the entire cost of a new Blackberry.

You can cancel the insurance, but you cannot get a new blackberry from the insurance without paying the $100.
