My boss made a big mistake...?

i just got a huge bonus in my check for the third week in a row. im debating whether i give the money back and tell my boss about the mistake, or i could run away with it... help?

You have no obligation to report it.
However, they may find out and ask for it back though I don't think they can force you to recover it.

Tell the boss it's the honest thing to do, if you don't say anything and he finds out later you might loose your job and you will not get any more paychecks and may be go to jail. Then it will look like you made the big mistake.

Keep the money,no literally keep the money they might ask it back although i also think there is no way of actually making you give it back.

Umm, accounting will catch up to it-sorry, you have to come clean. When that does happen you would have to pay it back-probably without a job. It's nice to fantasize about it though. You could always say that it was that BIG raise that he promised you at that last company party. :)

Well, the mistake will be caught sooner or later and will have to be deducted from your pay eventually. So do what your conscience tells you too. If you keep it, don't spend it. LOL

The boss may never know, but then again the boss may find out. Talk to them now, honesty may bring even a bigger bonus in the long run.

Give back to boss, you will get the return

honesty is the best policy!
and if you tell them they may give you a raise as a reward!

Sounds like its gonna be a good weekend. :)

yah i would tell him

if you dont. your goin to jail

well it seems ur doin gr8 at work .. keep it on ;)
