Wal Mart in foreign markets?

Wal Mart has taken a hard hit in India, Russia, Japan and is investing big in Chile where Home Depoet, JC Penny and Carrefour failed. It's obvious the US Market supports Wal Mart in all these foreign markets that has not showed profits. My Question is How much is this costing the American Consumer?

it may cost america nothing, and in fact may benefit.

the fact that jc penny or depot failed there does not mean walmart will fail...and in fact that i think walmart will probably succeed as it appears to be doing so in china.

you have to understand that walmart probably does better in its business model than jc penny and homedepot in that walmart can buy in bulk from a local manufacturer, in fact buying all its yearly production at a dirt cheap price practically forcing that manufactuer to work for minomum wage or minimum profit, that a similar local retailer cannnot afford to do, and that eliminates these local competitors...
